Happy first day of Fall!!!

I discovered these today. I thought they were so cute! I am planning on making some for Sami's friends at preschool. I love working with felt. I do not have a pattern, but I honestly don't think that they will be too hard. I am going to make a pumpkin and cat and try to come up with a few patterns of my own; a ghost and witch maybe.

Another non-craft related post coming up! I am a huge football fan and have loved Green Bay Packers since before I can remember. It was so weird today watching the Jets and actually rooting for them. It is strange to see Brett Favre wearing another uniform, but I love him the same! He won, 20-14 against the Dolphins. Yay!

A part of the requirement at ABU is that I need to take 2 religious studies courses in order to get my BEd. I am taking Intro to Christian Thought this term and Themes of the Bible next term. I am already swamped with classwork from the Education program, but it is manageable and I really enjoy what I am doing. The only problem I am having is the religious studies class. It is taking me so damn long to get the assignments done!! I feel like I am taking something in another language. Obviously, you can tell that religion has not been a huge role in my life. I guess that is coming to bite me in the butt! The worse part about all of it is that it isn't like I can use any of this when teaching b/c religion is such a taboo topic in the schools!

Well, I am all registered and the university is paid in full! I officially start back to school tomorrow. I cannot believe at 30 years old, I am going back to school. Eeeeks! I keep telling myself that it is going to be worth it in the end. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, my first class is not until 11:45am and I have Fridays off, so it isn't all bad. =) Monday and Wednesday, I start at 8:15am (Blah!). Those mornings will be pretty hectic, as I need to get myself and Sami ready and make sure we are out the door by 7:20am! I want to make sure to be out before the school buses or I will be late!
