Sami has always called Snow White Nan. I don't know if it is because they both have black hair or what! I have always found it rather cute. Anyway, here is a layout that I did of Samantha cuddling "Baby Nan".

I did some scrapbook pages last night when we came home from Mom's for supper. We had a very yummy chicken, with potatoes, carrots, dressing, and topped with gravy of course. LOL We typically go to my parent's house on Sundays; it is such a nice treat!

As you can see, I am very behind in my scrapbooking, just as I said. This is a picture of Samantha shortly after we moved from Halifax. She is 18 months in the pictures. She is coloring and having a blast! You may not be able to see it, but in the second picture, she has her mouth wide open while she is coloring. This is something that she still does today if she is concentrating very hard at doing something. It is so cute!

I really need to start posting more often. I have just been super busy with school. There have been so many assignments and presentations already. This term certainly is intense! There are only 42 class days left, but who is counting! LOL

I have also been quite busy with Sami. She is going to kindergarten next year and she has been going to the school every week to do various activities. She is so excited for September. We had a little bit of trouble of the first day there because they had a tag done up with Samantha on it. She informed the teacher that was not her name and that her name was "Sami". LOL

Now onto more crafty things. I went to a friends house last night, that I am slowing converting to a crafter. LOL We made a few cards and this is what I came up with. For the life of me, I cannot remember the name of this stamp set. It is from Stampin' Up. (I left my stamps at my friends).

It is freezing cold here today!!! It was -43 this morning! I woke up and was so cold, only to find out that our power was out! I called the power company and they were aware of the outage and were going to have it restored within an hour (although it has already been off for three hours previous). Sami had a doctor's appointment so we got ready and headed out. We did a little shopping to bide the time waiting for her appointment. We are now back home and it is nice and toasty! I am ready for Spring!!!

Nancy from Nancy's Creative Mess is creating a list of Canadian bloggers to include on the sidebar of her blog. If you fit the criteria (live in Canada, are a paper crafter, have a blog) please follow this link so that you can provide Nancy with all the pertinent details. Thanks.

What a busy, busy week! This semester is going to be a lot of hard work. I have 3+ assignments due each week, tons of reading to do each week, as well as presentations on top of that.

I did not have much time to be crafty this week at all. I did a scrapbook page today. It is pictures I took when Samantha had her hair cut. She had about 6 inches or more cut off. Here it is:

I only had one class today b/c the other one was cancelled. It was a great way to start the new semester. =) I have a great presentation group to work with in this class too. I'm very happy.

Anyway, back to craft land! I was home early today so decided to do some scrapbooking. I am so far behind with my scrapbooks that it isn't even funny. I have decided that I am not going to worry anymore about being years behind b/c it was only stressing me out. I am going to try to make sure I do at least 1-2 layouts per week and maybe eventually I will catch up. This is what I came up with today:

Well, I'm back to school today after a month off. After this semester, I have 3 courses left to get, which I'm hoping to do during spring sessions.

I played with my In the Stars stamp set today. I found the set to be very fitting in celebrating the New Year b/c of the phrase "may all your dreams come true". I absolutely love the brown and color combo. It seems like brown goes with any color. This is what I came up with:
