A very good friend's son will be turning 5 on Saturday. Him and Sami have known each other since birth. They live in Halifax, but we are able to see each other a few times each year and the kids always have a great time together. I wanted to do something special for his b-day. Of course, I have a bunch of gifts (toys, books and clothing), but wanted to give him something else b/c he has been missing Sami lately. I decided to use the All in the Family set and stamp a 5 x 7 sheet and frame it. I think he will love it!

Just a reminder that I will be putting in my first Stampin' Up Order on Monday (Don't forget Shelley LOL). For every $60 you spend in the Spring/Summer Catalog, you are able to pick something from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. I am also offering tax free savings if you place an order of $100 or more. Happy Shopping!!!
My baby clippies are my best seller at the local Market that I do on Saturdays. I sell a set of 4 for $3. They are 25 mm snap clips. I have decided that I am only going to be doing the Market for the next 3 Saturdays and that will be enough for me. I gave it a go and did okay for the past two months, but it is really wearing me down having to be up at 5:30am on Saturday. I end up being exhausted for the rest of the day and sick to my stomach. It just isn't worth it to me. I'm hoping that my Etsy shop picks up a little. Lots of people have been joining my Facebook group Flutterbye Dreams, which shows my latest crafts that are for sale.

I came up with some new style clips last night. Sami picked out the buttons that she wanted me to use first. LOL I am going to do some more up tonight. They are more time consuming then the other style I do, but I think they turned out nicely. What do you think? Also, what should I charge per clip? $2.50? $3? I hate doing pricing for things.

I know that Easter is a month away, but us crafty folk tend to start thinking of the upcoming holidays ahead of time. This allows us to get our crafty on. LOL I have been working on mini-baskets to sell at the market. I have done up two different kinds. One for a boy and one for a girl. The girl one has 2 felt eggs, 2 chocolate eggs, set of easter hair clippies, felt bunny and card. The boy one has 2 felt eggs, 2 chocolate eggs, car, felt bunny and card. I am planning on wrapping them in transparent wrap, with a ribbon on top. They will sell for $5 each.
Since St. Patrick's Day is this coming Tuesday, I thought I should do up a card that I could sell at the Market tomorrow. It took me forever to come up with something. I just wasn't feeling card making today at all. (I think it had something to do with an assignment that I was working on, redid it three times and still do not have it right.) This is what I ended up with:

Chelle had a NB workshop yesterday and we had a fun time. Like she mentioned, there were only a few of us, but it was fun nonetheless. She also gave us an hint as to how to make amazing bows. I absolutely love them and will no longer be afraid of using ribbon on my cards. LOL Here is what we made:
I look forward to the next time we can get together.
